Do you ever open your refrigerator door and find a bear hibernating in there? Just wondering...maybe it's just us?

Old Married Couple

Rebecca Teti: how do you get to be one? | “Old married couple” isn’t necessarily complimentary. You don’t want to be caught bickering like one. There’s a nice feature in yesterday’s Wall Street Journal, however, in which several couples whose marriage has passed the test of time offer tips. I’m not certain I want to pattern my love on the Osbourne …

She always calls me from the road when she’s driving to Mom …

Thank You God for My Life

Thank you God for allowing me to wake up today. I hope I wake up tomorrow. I do not believe that because I am healthy and alert that I am sure to wake up. My life is not a necessity, but a privilege. It is my privilege to live my life, and I live it for my God, my family, and myself. Love my life!

Every Day is Lent

Not too long ago after Mass, a casual friend approached me and said, “Whenever I heard things about you I would think, yeah right, all that stuff couldn’t possibly happen to her. So, I asked someone who knew you better, and she said, ‘yes, it really does.’ Wow, I’m sorry.”

Just call me Mrs. Murphy. Murphy’s Law states that if anything can go wrong it will.

Shortly after my husband left, and took all of our money with him, I was taking a shower and suddenly had no water. The well had broken. It… Continue
